NomadPlay develops a new touchpoint for Asian musicians through a digital competition of a brand-new kind, partnering up with Kahchun Wong and the National Orchestra of Île-de-France.
Classical Music & Technology Bringing Asia & France Together
NomadPlay is a groundbreaking music platform which gamifies instrument practice by giving the opportunity to improve along world-class musicians. Having launched in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan this Summer, the French startup is expanding throughout Asia, to give more musicians the chance to play along with famous orchestras and prestigious artists.
A Unique Contest: Play along world-class artists
Asian musicians from Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia will be able to take part in the very first NomadPlay Competition, which ends on 15 November 2020.
To fit a diversity of levels, the contestants can choose between two categories:
– “Revelation” for advanced musicians
Programme: Cesar Franck’s Symphony in D, 1st movement – recorded with Kahchun WONG and the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France
– “Young Talent” for under 18-year-old
Programme: Any piece available on NomadPlay
Exciting prizes are to be expected such as an all-expense paid trip to Paris to play live with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, for the winner of the “Revelation” category, but also vouchers from Asia’s leading music instrument retailer and distributor, Swee Lee, and NomadPlay Premium subscriptions.
