SG:SW 2021 – Songwriting Festival
Ready for the annual Songwriting Festival?
SG:SW2021, a songwriting festival which promotes the creation of Mandarin pop songs in Singapore is back for the 5th year.
While music created for the festival must consist of 50% Mandarin lyrics, it welcomes non-mandarin songwriters to participate. The festival also encourages songwriters who are able to bring in Malay or Indian influences to create a signature piece for one of the specially curated categories; the SCCC Xchange Award.
With the Senior Minister of State, Ms Sim Ann as the advisor, COMPASS is delighted to collaborate with Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Ocean Butterflies once again to present SG:SW 2021.
