BLANKET PERMIT RATES FOR EXHIBITIONS
A blanket permit covers both the organizers and exhibitors for the duration of the exhibition. Applications are assessed in accordance with the category of music density.

High Density

1. Exhibitions that feature the following as the main product line:

  • Videos & Films
  • Sound & Music
  • Hi-Fi, Stereo Sound Systems & similar Audio / Visual Appliances
  • Musical Instruments
  • Internet, Computers, Multi-media presentations

2. Exhibitions that include the following attractions:

  • Live Musical / Dance Performances
  • Karaoke & Singing
  • Fashion / Beauty Shows
  • Music Entertainment by DJs
  • Video & Sound Demonstrations
  • Variety Shows
  • Featured Music events like Magic Shows, Baby Shows etc.

Low Density

1. Exhibitions which do not feature films, music, audio / visual appliances and musical instruments as the main product line.
2. Exhibitions which do not include any form of musical entertainment to the public.

Note : “Duration” refers to period in which exhibition is officially open to General Public or Trade Visitors.

Notes
(1) Applications must be received by our office at least 2 weeks prior to commencement of the event. In the event of inaccuracies in the application, a new form must be submitted.

(2) Payments must be received by our office at least 3 working days prior to commencement of the event.
(3) The permit fee payable will be 50% higher where the music user has not obtained COMPASS’s music permit before performing musical works in public, without prejudice to any claims by COMPASS for past unlicensed usage of musical works.
(4) Permit fees are subject to late payment interest of 10% per annum calculated commencing from the first day of the event. COMPASS reserves the right to further levy an administrative charge between S$250 and S$750 for processing of late applications and payments.
(5) COMPASS reserves the sole discretion to decide which tariff scheme applies for the music usage.
(6) Rates are subject to GST.
